NDARC’s E-health group is a consortium of researchers with a broad range of expertise in drug and alcohol research including prevention, treatment, statistical analysis and epidemiology. Building on existing success in developing internet based treatments, including the award winning SHADE and CLIMATE programs, the group is committed to harnessing the power of the internet to provide rigorously evaluated treatment and prevention programs for drug and alcohol use disorders, including related mental and physical health comorbidities. The group’s main areas of focus are:
Use of the internet to monitor drug and alcohol harms
Development of new internet based treatments
Evaluation of new internet based prevention interventions
Provision of links to internet based treatment trials and assessments
Online data collection
