Congratulations to our Dean's Awards winners

The accomplishments of two NDARC staff members were recognised at the 2015 UNSW Medicine Dean’s Awards on Wednesday 18 November.

Dr Emma Barrett received the Dean’s Rising Star Award in recognition of her achievements as an Early Career Researcher. Dr Barrett’s post-doctoral work focuses on the comorbidity of substance use and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Doctoral candidate Kari Lancaster from the Drug Policy Modelling Program earned the Dean’s List Award for her outstanding contribution to drug policy research. Kari’s doctoral research focuses on social construction and the evidence-based drug policy endeavour.

The UNSW Medicine Dean's Awards are held annually to recognise and reward exceptional work by faculty staff.
