Health workers involved in the care of drug users are invited to come along to the third annual NDARC Health Workers Seminar.

This free event will present the key findings from the 2012 Illicit Drug Reporting System (IDRS) and Ecstasy and Related Drugs Reporting System (EDRS). These systems survey hundreds of regular drug users about what drugs they’re taking, how they’re taking them, what health services they’re utilising (if any), their mental and physical health, and more. The seminar will provide health care workers with the most up-to-date picture of Australia’s regular drug users, including emerging trends related to drug use and related harms.

The two hour seminar is to be held on 5 December and will be useful for professions including ambulance officers, needle & syringe program workers, emergency health care providers, peer educators and mental health workers.

We would love to see you at this event.
