
Ansari Abudeen has been employed since July 2009 as a Health Economist. He is currently a Phd candidate working on the project on Economics of Australian Indigenous alcohol policy which is part of a NHMRC project - Accessing Cost Effectiveness(ACE) Indigenous Alcohol. Prior to this he was working on Alcohol Action in Rural Communities and Alcohol Harm to Others projects. Before joining NDARC, he was in the Economist Service in the Government of Singapore, has worked with the centre on a cost effectiveness study of the national tobacco control program in Singapore and has also worked on health services and outcomes research within Singapore hospitals.
