About the travel scholarship
Higher degree research (HDR) candidates and early career research (ECR) staff working in the alcohol and other drugs (AOD) sector in Australia are invited to apply for NDARC Early Career Researcher Travel Scholarships.
There are a number of scholarships available to support attendance at three key events at UNSW Sydney – the ASCEND symposium (19 September), the 2022 NDARC Annual Research Symposium (20 and 21 September) and the NDARC Early Career Networking Event (22 September). Scholarships include return domestic airfares, accommodation, and a food allowance. Successful recipients will be based at NDARC and provided with office space while onsite.
Application criteria
Applications will be reviewed by the NDARC Early Career Researcher Travel Scholarships Review Committee against the following criteria:
- Evidence that the scholarship will help further the applicant’s career
- Demonstrated commitment to the Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) sector
- Opportunities for networking and collaboration
