NDARC is working with the AIDS Council of NSW (ACON) to find out more about LGBTQ+ adults and their behaviours and beliefs regarding the health risks of alcohol.

We’re looking for LGBTQ+ adults who live in NSW to take part in the Study Of Drinking and Health Among LGBTQ+ People (SODA+). We want to know more about the alcohol behaviours of people in the LGBTQ+ community and how people feel about the health risks of alcohol. The results of the survey will help guide an ACON campaign around alcohol use.

If you’d like to take part in SODA+, we’ll ask you to complete a short online survey. You don’t need to have consumed alcohol recently (or ever) to participate, and all LGBTQ+ adults who live in NSW are welcome to participate.

If you complete the survey, you’ll have the option to enter a prize draw for one of five $100 Giftpay vouchers. We’ll ask for your email address if you’d like to enter the prize draw, but we won’t need your contact info for any other purpose. If you provide your email it won’t be linked to your survey responses.

You can complete the SODA+ survey here until 5pm on Friday, 16 December 2022.
