Main

I am a health economist with experience in costing of interventions, cost of illness studies, economic evaluations, and outcome valuation of health interventions using discrete choice experiments and the contingent valuation method. I am currently applying these health economic methods in various drug and alcohol research settings including drug treatment, drug and alcohol rehabilitation and various criminal justice pathways.

My previous work involved economic evaluations of public health interventions to scale up the health system's capacity to treat  various diseases in low income countries including: HIV and other chronic diseases; cost of illness of spinal mascular atrophy in Australia, and valuation of fertility treatments in Australia.

I recently completed a PhD in Health Economics at the Kirby Institute, UNSW. My PhD investigated the societal economic value of interventions for the offender population in Australia.
