Sophie joined the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre in 2022 as a Research Assistant. Prior to this role, she has held positions within NSW Health, the Department of Human Services and the private sector. In 2021 she completed a Masters of Public Health (Distinction) through the University of Newcastle. She is currently working on a systematic review on the global coverage of harm reduction interventions available for people who inject drugs.
She is a passionate public health professional who hopes to improve health outcomes of all Australians, but especially those disadvantaged groups.
