Marianne is a Clinical Trials Manager and works across both the Kirby Institute and National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre at UNSW Sydney. She is responsible for managing the ASCEND NHMRC program grant (Advancing the health of people who use drugs: hepatitis C and drug dependence), overseeing multiple community and prison clinical research projects. Marianne joined the Kirby Institute in 2011, initially as monitor and project coordinator for the ATAHC II and ACTIVATE studies, after which she managed the SToP-C project (Surveillance and Treatment of Prisoners with Hepatitis C). Previously she has worked in the not-for-profit, academic and government sectors managing oncology, neurology and mental health clinical trials and health promotion projects. Marianne has postgraduate qualifications in public health, project management and clinical trials (MPH, MHM, MPM, Graduate Certificate Clinical Trials Mgmt).
