Project Main Description: 

This innovative, integrated care project was implemented in the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District to improve integration of services provided to those who are frequent attenders to the Emergency Department and have drug and alcohol use disorders.

Design and Method: 

The design involves a pre and post intervention analysis of health services utilisation, outcomes and costs. 

Progress/Update: 

Analysis and report writing underway.

This project will help inform the management of a complex group of patients who attend ED frequently.
