The Illicit Drug Reporting System (IDRS) and the Ecstasy and Related Drugs Reporting System (EDRS) are national drug monitoring systems intended to identify emerging trends of local and national concern in illicit drug markets, and form part of Drug Trends

Personal testing kits (i.e. reagent tests) comprise the only local option for people in New South Wales to obtain objective information about the contents of their illicit drugs. Information about drug checking experiences among people who use ecstasy in NSW is pertinent to inform ongoing discussions around drug checking services in NSW.
