Rebecca is a Registered Nurse, with an Honours degree in Nursing from the University of Wollongong (UOW). She currently works as a Registered Nurse for Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network and is a sessional member of staff at UOW teaching the Bachelor of Nursing. Rebecca is undertaking a PhD at NDARC, with a focus on harm reduction and infectious disease transmission in prisons globally, under the supervision of Professor Kate Dolan, Professor Michael Farrell, Professor Stuart Kinner and Professor Frederick Altice. Her research interests include global prisoner health, harm reduction and HIV/Hepatitis/Tuberculosis prevention among prison populations. Rebecca is supported by an Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarship.
