The National Drug Trends Conference will present recent findings in illicit drug use, markets and related harms across Australia and internationally.
Pioneering research on treatments for traumatic stress and substance use disorder has earned a prestigious Fulbright Scholarship for Dr Emma Barrett, a postdoctoral research fellow at UNSW’s National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre.
One in six people using prescribed opioids for chronic pain also use cannabis, a study of 1,500 Australians led by researchers at the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre at UNSW has found.
Australia’s largest ever survey of young people’s opinions on drug and alcohol policy has found most young people are well-informed and well-placed to contribute to future policy direction, say researchers from UNSW Australia.
