In Australia, ecstasy is one of the most commonly used illicit drugs. There is evidence to suggest development of dependence is possible, and that those with dependence engage in significant risk behaviours around drug taking, but little is known about their harm reduction behaviours, including engagement with services. This presentation identifies risk and harm reduction behaviours and health service utilisation amongst people with potential ecstasy dependence.
