About this webinar:

NDARC, ACON, and the NSW Cancer Institute are collaborating on a body of work that examines alcohol-related behaviours, beliefs, and knowledge regarding cancer risk among LGBTQ+ adults in NSW. This seminar will overview the findings of a quantitative and qualitative study and how these findings will inform alcohol-related health promotion efforts targeted towards LGBTQ+ people.

About the speakers

Dr Wing See Yuen is a Research Fellow at NDARC. Her research interests include examining trends, trajectories, and predictors of alcohol and other substance-related harm in vulnerable populations, such as young people and LGBTQ+ people.

Dr Simon Clay's research focuses on the relationship between drug use, substance dependence treatment, and well-being, with a particular focus on risk and embodiment. Simon's work extends into the sociology of health and how public health policy is developed and enacted.
