Brain Sciences and Translational Neuroscience seed funding

The Brain Sciences and Translational Neuroscience sub-theme of the UNSW Medicine Neuroscience, Mental Health and Addiction Theme and SPHERE Clinical Academic Group (CAG) has opened another round of seed funding for 2018.

In this round, funding of up to $20,000 is available to support the development of research projects in alignment with the sub-theme’s key areas of focus:

  • The interface of regulation and emotion
  • Executive function and decision-making
  • The mind – machine nexus
  • Neural coding
  • Neural therapeutics
  • Neural prosthetics
  • Neuromodulation and stimulation strategies

Brain Sciences and Translational Neuroscience is seeking to award four research proposals.

  • Review of applications: November 2018
  • Notification to applicants: End November 2018
  • Project funding dispersed: December 2018
  • Brief report due: 30 March 2020
