Jack joined NDARC in May 2016 as a Research Assistant, and began working on a number of projects (Climate Schools, Climate Schools Combined). Under Dr Christina Marel, he is currently assisting in the dissemination of the revised National Comorbidity Guidelines on the management and treatment of comorbid mental health and substance use conditions in alcohol and other drug treatment settings.
Jack completed his Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) in 2015 at the University of Newcastle. His honours thesis investigated the effect of inter-stimulus interval on electroencephalography (EEG) responses to sensory stimuli. Outside of University, he assisted in research, conducted by Central Coast Health, exploring the effects of synthetic and non-synthetic cannabis.
