The experience of being released from jail: a case study

Daisy Gibbs
Resource Type: NDARC Seminars

Daisy Gibbs presented at the NDARC Webinar Series on Thursday 12 August 2021.

This presentation described an Australian man’s experience of leaving prison and attending a supported accommodation service.

Combining data from semi-structured qualitative interviews with men who received supported accommodation following release from prison, initial results from our systematic review, and a preliminary analysis of a supported accommodation’s service model, this webinar will present a case study that contributes to discussions about the needs of men released from prison, and how services like supported accommodation can address these complex and mutually reinforcing needs.
